Introduction
Itecho Health is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. Although we operate in a low-risk sector and maintain a limited number of suppliers, we recognize our responsibility to uphold ethical practices and ensure transparency.
Our Business
Itecho Health is a UK-based medical technology company focused on developing digital solutions to improve healthcare delivery. Our operations are primarily office-based, involving software development, research, and client collaboration. We source limited goods and services, mainly in software, IT infrastructure, and professional services.
Our Approach to Modern Slavery
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our relationships. We have implemented the following measures to prevent modern slavery:
- Conduct risk assessments of our suppliers based on geography, industry, and size.
- Include modern slavery clauses in supplier contracts where appropriate.
- Engage only with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical labour practices.
- Monitor our business activities and supply chains to identify and mitigate risks.
Training and Awareness
Although we are a small team, we ensure all staff are aware of modern slavery issues through onboarding and periodic updates. We encourage a culture of openness and responsibility.
Reporting Concerns
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. Any concerns or suspicions can be raised confidentially through our internal reporting channels. All concerns are taken seriously and investigated promptly.
Review and Oversight
This policy is reviewed annually by senior management and updated as necessary to reflect our evolving business and legal requirements.
Approval
This statement has been approved by the Directors of Itecho Health and is published in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
